🌍 CHIO MI 🖤 TO SUPPORT KIDS

A Journey of Creativity, Joy & Opportunity

At CHIO MI, we believe childhood should be filled with creativity, joy, and opportunity. Yet for many children around the world, the chance to receive an adequate school education is not a given. That’s why we’ve decided to take action and make a meaningful contribution to underprivileged kids around the world.

CHIO MI has joined forces with Grund für Gutes and Pro Namibian Children e.V. With every CHIO MI sweatshirt you purchase, you’re not only choosing a sustainable clothing item made from 100% organic cotton – you’re also giving back. Each sweatshirt purchase helps to fund underprivileged kids at the school of the Omomas Care Center in Namibia. ✨

👉 1 Euro = 1 day of school = for 1 child

This is a small contribution, but one that creates ripple effects, which we hope to grow into larger projects in the future.

Who is behind Grund für Gutes?

We know how important transparency is when it comes to donations. That’s why we’re proud to support a project we personally know and trust.

Christian, the founder of Grund für Gutes, has been visiting and supporting the Omomas Care Center since his childhood and spent many summers there. His strong relationship with Anja, head of the school and project as well as his bond to the children, inspired him to support the Omomas Care Center for the long-term with his foundation.

Together with Pro Namibian Children e.V., Grund für Gutes works to improve:

  • 📚 Education

  • 💻 Access to digitalisation

  • 🎨 Creative development

About the Omomas Care Center

For over 30 years, Anja, the driving force behind Pro Namibian Children e.V., has been committed to supporting children in southern Namibia. With her vision, dedication, and continuous effort, the Omomas Care Center has grown into a safe place, home and school for around 150 children ages five to sixteen.

On the Omomas campus, the children are guided every day by Jacinda, the school director, who leads with heart, strength, and tireless commitment. Under her guidance, Omomas has become a place of trust and stability for many children who would otherwise be homeless.

More than a school – a place children learn for life:

✏️ Education: Children receive a secondary education.
🥗 Health & Nutrition: They receive balanced meals and learn the importance of daily hygiene.
💛 Community: Omomas teaches peaceful living, resilience, the power of bravery and believing in yourself and how to handle health issues such as HIV.

The guiding principle of PNC – helping people to help themselves – is lived daily. Children here don’t just receive education. They receive appreciation, have access to role models, and gain the confidence to believe in themselves and the world.

At CHIO MI, we believe in this work because it is driven by long-term commitment and heartfelt passion.

Why this matters to us

Supporting children’s education and creativity aligns deeply with our vision at CHIO MI: a childhood filled with imagination and courage.

By combining sustainable fashion with meaningful impact, we hope to inspire families not only to dress their children in feel-good cozy statement sweatshirts, but also to create opportunities for others.

Sustainability is in everything we do

Our commitment doesn’t stop with donations.

  • 🌱 Every CHIO MI sweatshirt is made in Portugal from 100% certified organic cotton

  • ✅ Ensuring fair production and minimal environmental impact

  • 📦 Packaging materials are eco-friendly and recyclable – because the future we imagine for children should also be one that respects the planet 🌱

💛 With every sweatshirt, you’re not only giving your child a piece of clothing full of story and character – you’re giving another child in Namibia a chance at a brighter future.
